Is it as simple as it sounds?

Well, no. But you need to be committed to ups and downs you may face.

To kick-start a lifestyle change or if put in another way, to try something new, generally means to leave something(s) you used to do (behaviours/beliefs/habits) behind!

Anyone seeking to try ‘another way’, has not been satisfied with another method or simply needs a guide and support towards their goals.

This type of journey is never easy. Most people want all the answers and to know the outcome ahead of time. This is not possible.

I commenced a series of programs ‘Kick-start your Wellness Journey’ which I ran many years ago. Participants commence a series of changes to implement into their daily lives, such as eating better, eliminating junk/toxins, workout more etc.

Are they successful? My answer would be, those who put in the work reap the rewards. It is important to note that success doesn’t come easy for many.

It can be very daunting to have a new way of eating let alone a new way of preparing food (and for many, preparing meals from scratch is a totally new concept).

From creating a shopping list, most likely paying more at the check out because eating healthy costs more (go figure) to somehow needing to create this one magical thing that many people complain they simple can’t do…. find the TIME.

I get it, it is overwhelming. But is it as overwhelming as poor vision? Walking around with aches and pains constantly? Having poor sleep or feeling depressed? Eating well, removing toxins and negativity from everyday life leads to your best life full of vitality.

I have been there before too when I have been keen to start a new program or achieve a new goal and not done so well. In the past, my old self would think ‘I’ve failed, so what’s the point in trying again?’ And I gave up many times making excuses. I was ‘one of those’ people I help now.

You will be one of 4 people:

  1. The person who mucks up start of the week and says ‘screw it, I’ll binge now and when Monday comes around I will start again’
  2. The person who starts the day/week really well and focused and as the night/week closes has the binge and says ‘I deserve it, I have been doing well’
  3. The person who doesn’t really put in the effort and continues to blame everyone else
  4. The person who commits, no matter what

Interestingly enough, you (like I) may be more than one of these types over the course of many years. And that’s OKAY!

If you have ever been on journey with me as your coach in competition prep, general weight loss/detox or fitness challenges, you would know you have me in your corner.

Asking me questions gets you the clarity you need.

Being honest with me, helps me get you closer to the goal.

Not being afraid to hit a brick wall (or two) as I will help with tools for you to smash them down.

We all have demons inside pulling us away from what we truly desire.

The key to a successful outcome is getting to understand those negative little voices and not back down.

An elimination and cleansing program in my opinion is not just about food.

Is it the way we speak to others and ourselves.

The information we choose to take in from people around us.

How we keep our homes, cars, office etc.

Is it ALL that we live and breathe day and out.

So if you really want to kick-start your wellness with me, understand its a journey that won’t be easy.

But it will be worth it!
